I'm going to get real right off the bat here, I spend a good amount of time wishing I could fast forward 3 or 5 years. The funny thing is, it's only because I'm so excited when I think of how far I've come personally and as a photographer in the past 3 years. When I began working with Caitlin of Hazelton Photography I had no idea how much experience and knowledge I would gain. In this industry I firmly believe in cultivating a sense of community. Sharing knowledge and ideas can only enrich us all. We're all in this together. And what a incredibly exciting community to be a part of! I am so looking forward to getting even more involved and meeting more creatives as I continue this journey.
The part of my journey affectionately known as 2014 was a great one. It was filled with incredibly kind and unique couples and I have to thank each of them for letting me play a part in their day. F. Scott Fitzgerald said, “There are all kinds of love in this world but never the same love twice.” I love this quote and know it to be true. It makes my heart so happy when I arrive on a wedding day and see the unique way in which a couple loves one another. Each couple does it a little differently and it just feels like magic to me every time I bare witness. So I say thank you again, to Caitlin and all Hazelton Photography couples, as well as to my own clients - thank you. You all make my dream "job" possible.
I've always found it hard to pick "favorites". So I won't call these favorites. Here is a small sampling of the images I made during an incredible year of growth. I absolutely cannot wait to see what 2015 holds. All I can say is, ya'll better bring the love, because I'm ready.
And here's few that make me laugh! Special shout out to all the dedicated dancers with AMAZING moves that had me smiling 'til the end! Apparently pointing at the photographer was super 'in' last year :)
