St. Louis

Erika & Jared | Married!

Growing up I spent a lot of days at the Chicago Botanic Gardens with my dad and my Aunt Phyllis. I could spend all day walking the paths and enjoying all the gardens - from the manicured English walled garden to the artfully designed Japanese garden - I loved them all. When we moved to St. Louis The Missouri Botanical Garden was one of the first places we checked out! Now that we’re back living in Chicago, I’m especially grateful to have been able to photograph such a beautiful wedding at MoBot while we lived there. At MoBot there are endless picturesque locations to work with. Erika & Jared worked hard to make their wedding a memorable, beautiful day. Surrounded by their friends and family - they said “I do” in the rose garden just before dusk and it was so lovely!

Kate & Brett | Married!

I remember meeting Kate and Brett for the first time months ago and feeling like instant friends! We talked about their relationship and their families, why and how they fell in love, and Game of Thrones came up in conversation, too. Ha! It was just obvious how genuine and kind they are and how excited they were about this chapter in their lives. Well the big day finally came and it was great! Kate and Brett looked at each other with such love. And though the day was hot, their bridal party toughed it out more than willingly because they knew Kate and Brett deserved awesome photos! They were totally surrounded by the people who love and support them the most. When the father of the bride gave his speech, I definitely teared up. So many memorable moments. Kate and Brett, I hope these photos help take you back to the exact moments for years to come!
